CEdO 535 - Week 5

This week I learned about Yacapaca! Yacapaca is a Web 2.0 tool that can assist you with making your classes paperless. You can create quizzes, tests, and online assignments which are automatically scored for you. After they are scored, you can use the data from the scoring to drive your instruction for your next lessons.

I would love to use this with my students! I constantly feel buried by the amount of paper I collect and score. Yacapaca could help me change that, while encouraging my students to keep learning from technology. I am so excited to try it!

  1. I haven't looked at Yacapaca, but it sounds awesome! I'm starting to think that our classrooms are going to have to go to a 1 to 1 format, where all the kids have their own computers!

  2. Andi,

It is ironic that I chose to read your blog first after something that happened to me today. Let me share why. I made 60 copies of a quiz for my 2 Trig classes today and didn't realize the copier was putting ink blotches everywhere at random. I did not notice this until I was finished running them. So, I had to go to another copier at the other end of the building to run some that I could use. The time and the amount of paper I wasted was incredibly frustrating. I have to look into your extraordinary find! Thanks!!!!!!
