I am a little nervous about the rubric part of my project. Although I've written hundreds of rubrics throughout my career, this one seems to be giving me a little trouble. I'm really looking forward to meeting with my classmate this week to run it by her and see if I'm on the right track with it or not.
The rest of my project is going well, and I can't wait to try the SMART Response system with my students. I had to jump through a few hoops to get my tech person to install everything as quickly as I needed it, but it always help to be able to say, "I need it for my masters class, which ends on October 26th." That really got the ball rolling!

ReplyDeleteI'm also a little nervous about my rubric. The first one I created was more for MY project and how I would grade myself on the overall experience. Oops...back to the drawing board. I hope you are able to sit down and plan a great rubric for your project...and I'm sure you will!
I'm also looking forward to meeting with a classmate. I'm interested in what he is up to with his project and what help and ideas he can give me. I think the feedback will be very beneficial!

ReplyDeleteWow, I feel like I wrote this.I, too, write rubric everyday for all the art project we do. I seriously use or wrote a new rubric each week and yet I have been toying with my rubric for weeks now. I am so unsure of how to write it and/or if I wrote if correctly.
Maybe we should set up a class wide rubric share time, just to make sure we are all on the right track! :p
Im happy you finally got the smart response for your project. Those things are soooo cool. I played with them at a conference once. --jealous!
